1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. EUPDB.EU is a professional platform for licensed and aspiring pilots in the European aviation sector. By registering you confirm that you are legally entitled to work in the states you name on your profile.
2. Your account
You may register with your email address or with Google or LinkedIn. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your credentials confidential
- Everything done under your account
- Writing to support@eupdb.eu at once if you suspect that someone else has reached it
One account per person. You may not open an account on behalf of anybody else.
Holding an account is 100% free. There is no fee and no time limit.
3. Your profile and verification
Registration asks for your name, where you are based, and whether you hold a pilot licence. You are not asked to upload any document to register. If you answer that you do not hold a licence yet, your profile is that of an aspiring pilot.
From your dashboard you may add your licence and ratings, your flight time, the validity dates of your medical certificate and your language endorsement, your availability, base and contract preferences, and you may upload documents such as your licence, your medical certificate, training certificates, logbook pages and a CV. Uploading is optional, the files stay private to you, and they are kept until you delete them or delete your account. What goes on your profile is your decision, and you can change or remove any of it whenever you want.
3.1 Verification is optional
If you ask to be verified, you show your pilot licence once. A verified flag is then set on your profile and the file is not kept. What remains is the flag and the date.
The flag records that single check and nothing more. It is not a condition of holding a profile, and it is not an authentication of your licence or of any other qualification.
4. Visibility and consent
Your profile is part of the database. It is never public, and you decide who can see it.
- You may exclude any operator at any time from your dashboard, your current employer included
- An excluded operator cannot see your profile and cannot message you. The exclusion applies from the moment you set it
- Messages reach you on the platform and you decide whether to answer. Your email address is never given out
- Deleting your account removes your profile from the database
We do not guarantee any number of views, messages or offers.
5. Accuracy of what you declare
You warrant that everything on your profile is genuine, accurate and current.
5.1 Formal declaration
By completing your profile, by uploading any document, and by showing any document for verification, you make a formal declaration that:
- Every qualification you claim, a pilot licence, a type rating, a medical certificate, a language endorsement and any training certificate included, was issued to you personally by the authority or organisation you name
- Every flight time figure you enter is taken from your logbook, and simulator time is not counted as flight time
- Any document you upload or show is genuine and unaltered. No text, date, stamp, photograph or reference number has been modified in any way
- Any validity date you enter is the date on the document, and a qualification you mark as current has not been revoked, suspended or expired
- You are the sole and legitimate holder of every qualification you describe
This declaration matters most for licences, ratings and medical certificates, which are official regulatory documents issued under Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 and the applicable national aviation authority provisions. Claiming a licence, a rating or a certificate that was not issued to you, or showing a document that has been altered or was obtained fraudulently, may be a criminal offence under aviation safety law and fraud legislation in the applicable jurisdiction, as well as a breach of these terms.
5.2 Consequences of inaccuracy or fraud
Declaring a qualification you do not hold, or showing a falsified, expired, altered or fraudulently obtained document, is strictly prohibited and may lead to:
- Immediate suspension of your account and a permanent ban from the platform
- A report to EASA, to the relevant national Civil Aviation Authority, and to the data protection authorities
- A notice to any account that had previously seen your profile
- Civil and criminal proceedings in the applicable jurisdictions
5.3 Reporting fraud
If you become aware of a false or fraudulent qualification on the platform, or if a profile has been created in your name without your knowledge or consent, report it at once to support@eupdb.eu with the subject line "Fraud Report".
On a credible report, EUPDB.EU will:
- Suspend the reported profile within 24 hours
- Send a notice to any account that had previously seen that profile
- Report the matter to the relevant national aviation authority where a licence, a rating, a medical certificate or another regulatory qualification is involved
- Cooperate fully with any law enforcement or regulatory enquiry
A report made in bad faith, or as an act of harassment, may itself breach these terms and may be referred to the relevant authorities.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Claim a qualification, or show a document, belonging to another person
- Hold more than one account, or share your account
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or otherwise extract data from the platform
- Use the platform to harass, defame or harm anyone
- Circumvent any technical security measure
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
7. Intellectual property
The content, design, trademarks and software of the platform belong to EUPDB.EU or to its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute them without prior written consent. What you write on your own profile remains yours.
8. Your data and GDPR rights
We process your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy. You may access, correct, export and delete your data at any time. We do not ask you for special categories of data, and you must not put health information in your profile, in your documents or in a message.
9. Deleting your account
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. On deletion:
- Your profile is removed from the database immediately
- Your account, your profile and your messages are erased within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligation
- The documents you uploaded are erased with your account. Any file you showed for verification was not kept after the check
Deletion cannot be undone. We cannot recover data once deletion is confirmed.
10. Liability
EUPDB.EU is a database. We are not a recruitment agency, an employer, or an employment agency under applicable law, and we do not guarantee an employment outcome. We are not liable for:
- A decision taken by any other party on the basis of your profile
- The accuracy of anything published on the platform by another account
- Loss of data caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- Indirect or consequential damage arising from use of the platform
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed €100.
11. Amendments
We may update these terms. We will tell you by email at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Poland. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Polish courts, without prejudice to your rights as an EU consumer.
